    1. This is obviously outside your lane. An MD should stick to his lane. Sunshine and dubious studies is misleading. We also know that vitamin D supplements are useless to prevent or treat covid-19. Bottom line is an overall healthy lifestyle is best to prevent illnesses. i live in Norway with dark winters and bright summers. Most are adjusted to sunlight and healthy. Meta analyzes are crap. So concentrate on what’s in your lane an leave out crap pseudo science. Go outdoors to enjoy nature for your mental and physical and eat a well balanced meal.

    2. @Dicentra you need to stay in your lane. He has studies to back up his hypothesis, you have nothing to back up yours

    3. i did covid test. two days prior felt lungs heaviness. now thank god throat hurts, drank alto of teas, alot ot takabk pills.
just did covid test and its positive. agglutination positive. means 4th year is coming. vaccines should be again be spread for people to make mucus in throat, some sorrt of protection please.

  1. Given that there is evidence that localised exposure to sun is beneficial to the brain where sunlight can penetrate even the skull, it leaves one to wonder if there is not some accumulated harm happening to private parts which almost never get sun exposure?

    1. If it can penetrate the skull I don’t think it will have much difficulty in penetrating less formidable materials. The key is getting outside because it will not penetrate the walls and roof of you house or office.

  2. Looking at that wavelength comparison between e-readers and plain books, I very much doubt that it was an e-paper reader because with them the light reflected has MUCH more to do with the light source than the e-reader. Possibly someone compared an e-reader with an LED light source and paper book with an incandescent light source. That ain’t an apples to apples comparison.

    1. It doesn’t matter. ANY light shuts down melatonin production and the more intense the worse it shuts down. The wavelength is not as important as the intensity.

    2. @MedCram – Medical Lectures Explained CLEARLY Sorry, slight misunderstanding, my comment was only related to the spectrum comparison not being consistent with the technology mentioned and the comparison the article mentioned made in regard to e-paper and actual paper, I get what you are saying about light in general

  3. I quit my 40 hour a week INDOOR OFFICE JOB and my bipolar disorder couldn’t be more managed! INSIDE OFFICE WORK IS JUST SEDENTARY SLAVERY! The sunscreen companies and cancer companies are owned by the same people.

  4. So which wavelength in the IR spectrum offers the benefit of melatonin production, and what are the chemical precursors to this?? Is 670nm the magic number, or does it not matter?

  5. When I had COVID one thing I did to relax was sunbathe. Apparently I was doing the right thing! 😄 Thank you for sharing this information, I found it fascinating.

  6. Thanks for posting this very interesting and informative video. I had to stop it in the middle to go take a walk in the sum.

  7. I don’t understand why they are talking about reading in dim light. I cant read in dim light! 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️

  8. Wow…I knew it…
“Classified circadian disruptive shift work as a probable carcinogen…my beloved friend fired if two cancers after more than a decade of awful swing shift work, constantly changing schedules, at Home Depot! Stated around 37:00!
